Our clients had lived in the same house for a number of years, and were ready for a transformation of their garden. The lawn area surrounding the pool had become dry and required ongoing water and maintenance to keep it alive. The back courtyard was used only as a utility area, and they wanted to upgrade it to create an attractive space. Our brief was water-wise, low maintenance and beautiful. Once we had agreed on a design, which included stone, pebble, pavers and low maintenance plants, we installed this design. In our dry Cape Town climate, this type of garden is a viable and pleasing option.
